My father Jimmy started J.J. Landerman Roofing as a residential roofing company over 75 years ago after learning the business from his Uncle Max in the 1930's. My father was my best friend, so it's no surprise that by age 14 I was working side by side with him. I remember thinking how great it was fixing things and producing something that was visibly and structurally improved.
Now, after more than 40 years in the business, I still feel the same pride that comes from solving people's problems. It's second nature to me now. There just isn't a roofing issue that I can't solve. That confidence comes naturally with the experience level I have. I derive a lot of pleasure from getting the job done right. I'm proud of the business that we've built and the reputation our name has in the commercial and residential industry today.
